I'm from Ashford, Kent in the UK and grew up as part of Ashford Baptist Church, going to Godinton Primary School then the Norton Knatchbull Grammar School for Boys and Sixth Form.
I spent three years working full time with Youth For Christ as a Youth Worker in Leicestershire, then Buckinghamshire, around England, then the Wirral.
I studied a BSc in Psychology, as well as being the Vice President of the Christian Union, Faith Societies Representative, President of the Psychology Society, Chair of Student Council and more.
I took part in the 11 month, 11 countries missions trip, experiencing the church, mission and needs around the world. It was during this time that I met Andrea.
I returned to study at Portsmouth completing a PGCE and gaining NQT status for Secondary Mathematics. Andrea and I got married at the end of this year.
We returned to Guatemala and had half a year with Casa Verde, before joining YWAM Antigua for their DTS program.
I took on a variety of roles during our time in Malaysia, going on to lead the Operational Leadership Circle for the whole base. We were blessed with our little girl during this time too.
I look forward now to the opportunities to improve my Spanish and become a greater part of the culture as we serve with YWAM here in Guatemala.
